Q: QuestionCan I use this 29.8” GE Microwave Trim Kit for installation of the 2.2 Cu. Ft. GE Profile Built-in Microwave (Model #: PCWK22U1WBB and SKU #: 6618354)? Please let me know (as I have bought two 27” GE Trim Kit for this microwave, and they didn’t fit).

• A:Answer This JX9153SJSS trim kit is not compatible with microwave model PCWK22U1WBB. The compatible trim kits for your microwave are models JX7227DLBB (for 27” cabinets) or JX7230DLBB (for 30” cabinets). Lauren@GEAppliances

• A:Answer There are multiple options for trim kits for the microwave model you provided, however, this trim kit is not one of them. The trim kits for microwave model PEB7227SLSS are, Black Stainless: JX7227BLTS (27 inch), JX7230BLTS (30 inch); Black Slate: JX7227FMDS (27 inch), JX7230FMDS (30 inch); Stainless Steel: JX7227SLSS (27 inch), JX7230SLSS (30 inch); Slate: JX7227ELES (27 inch), JX7230ELES (30 inch).

• A:Answer Hello- We are happy to help! The JX1530MSA (stainless) is a built-in kit (painted metal) for model JE1660SA. The kit is designed to give a flush appearance. This kit can be installed above any GE single electric (including convection) wall oven. Cannot be installed over a gas oven. Cut-out Dimensions: Width: 24 1/2" (+/- 1/16") Height: 17 9/16" (+/- 1/16") Depth: 21" min. with non-recessed plug; 19" min. with recessed plug. Actual Frame Dimensions: 19 3/4"H x 29 3/4"W. Your current model has 1.6 cubic ft. and the dimensions on your microwave are 23-21/32 x 13-5/16 x 18-5/16. Unfortunately, model JES2251SJ03 was designed for countertop use only; it is not compatible with a trim kit and cannot be built-in. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
