A:AnswerThanks so much for reaching out about this! We're happy to help you find a great new microwave. In this case, we recommend model PEB9159SJSS since it has similar dimensions to your current microwave and can be purchased with a 27" or 30" trim kit. The dimensions of your current microwave are 14" x 24-1/8" x 19-3/4" (HxWxD) while our recommended model is 13" x 21-3/4" x 20" (HxWxD). Please be aware that trim kits are model-specific, so it will need a new trim kit. We hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions. -Chris@GEA
A:AnswerWe certainly understand not wanting to be reminded of prepared food to the point of annoyance and are happy to help! The "Cooking Complete Signal" on this microwave, which is 4 beeps, is heard only once and directly at the end of the cooking cycle. The "Cooking Complete Reminder" is a beep that occurs once every minute after the normal cooking cycle has ended and the "Cooking Complete Signal" has sounded. It is designed to remind you when the cooking time has completed. We hope this helps! Please let us know if there's anything else we can do for you. -Chris@GEA

A:AnswerThanks so much for reaching out and sticking with GEA over these years. We greatly appreciate your loyalty and will be happy to help find the feature you are looking for. This microwave does not have the option to turn off the turntable. For this, we recommend model PEM31DFWW. This features a turntable button on the control panel and can be brought down to a more manageable level on the counter. Both of the possible replacements can set a power level for two consecutive coking timers at the start of a cycle. We hope this helps. - John@GEAppliances

A:AnswerGood day,
We'd be delighted to assist you in finding a replacement model. If you are looking for a unit to be built in, we'd like to recommend model ZEB1227SLSS. If you are seeking only a countertop model, then please consider model ZES1227SLSS. We hope these models are to your liking. Stay well! Mike@GEA
A:AnswerHi there, thanks for reaching out to us and for your patience. While we are sorry to hear that your current microwave is failing, we are so glad to hear that it has served you well for so long. We truly appreciate your interest in this beautiful sensor microwave and are happy to offer you guidance in a replacement! We offer a variety of countertop microwaves, but only select models can be installed in a cabinet for a built-in look using a trim kit. This specific model is a countertop only model and we apologize for any disappointment this may cause. - However, we would recommend the PEB7227DLBB model that offers a similar appearance and sensor cooking features and is built-in compatible! Because trim kits are model specific, the JX7227DLBB 27" trim kit will be required for its installation. It is important to only use the trim kit designed for that model so that the trim kit fits the microwave and provides the proper air flow that it needs. You can see additional details of this microwave and the required cutout space for installation here: https://files.bbystatic.com/6Y3CcukvUw3Q%2BvRvdclByw%3D%3D/85DBFE08-EFD7-474C-A72C-81A9C080C7FD.pdf. - We sincerely hope that this recommendation is helpful and would be happy to answer any additional questions you may have about the many features that it offers. Thanks for being such a loyal member of the GE Appliances family! -Eliza@GEA
A:AnswerHi songbird9, thanks for reaching out to us and for your patience! We truly appreciate your interest in this fantastic sensor microwave and are happy to offer you some guidance in this. This microwave uses traditional microwave cooking technology, where power is cycled 100% on and off during cooking. We do not currently offer a microwave that uses inverter technology for cooking. Inverter technology delivers "true" microwave power levels with constant medium to low power when cooking or defrosting. Our microwaves currently only provide this technology with Defrost mode. This model is equipped with both a Weight and Time Defrost, that automatically sets the optimal defrosting time and power level! We sincerely hope that this information is helpful for you. All the best! -Eliza@GEA
A:AnswerHi bostonmac, we appreciate your loyalty to us. This microwave is actually manufactured for countertop installation only so it won't be compatible with any trim kit. If you have any other questions or concerns, you can e-mail us using the Contact Us page on our website and a member of our team will be glad to help. - Guy@GEA
A:AnswerHey MariaPhil, thanks for contacting us and congratulations on your new microwave! Many microwaves are now packed with a plastic film applied to the outside of the door and control panel. This is similar to the film that would cover chrome trim parts to prevent scratching during shipping and is used for the same reason on the microwave. This is a static cling film that should peel off easily. If you have any other questions or concerns, you can e-mail us using the Contact Us page on our website and a member of our team will be glad to help. We're glad to have you in our GE Appliances family. - Guy@GEA
A:AnswerHi Sakthi, thanks so much for reaching out! We found a built in microwave that we think you're going to love. The model number for that new unit is: PEB7227ANDD and the Stainless Steel trim kits associated with this new model are as follows: 27" JX7227SLSS and 30" JX7230SLSS. Trim kits are model specific so we would not recommend using an old trim kit with a new model. We hope that this helps and that you're staying safe. -Michael
