- Answer Hi betsy122, thanks for your questions! Yes, this model can be converted to use Liquid Propane (LP) rather than Natural Gas. The conversion kit comes with the unit. We'd recommend that this conversion be performed by a qualified gas professional. - As for the power of the cooktop, converting from Natural Gas to LP would not affect the BTU ratings. QuestionI currently have a 30" Frigidaire stovetop Model #PLGC30S9ECA, Serial #NF80712322. I would like to replace it with the GE 30" Profile 5 Burner stainless stove top. Will this appliance fit into the countertop, ie: are the cut out specs compatible?

QuestionI just bought this stove and the control knobs are really tight and dont shut the stove off. I had to kill the gas. What can I do? I cannot cook right know. Im very frustrated. The knob light does not shut off.
