- Answer We recommend using stainless steel, aluminum, copper bottom, or enamel on cast iron. Cast iron should not be used as it could scratch your cooktop. If you'd like, you can view more on this on page 10 of the Use and Care manual on the product page. -Kacie@GEAppliances

- Answer The PSS93YPFS does use the convection technology for the oven. To determine the best cookware to use with this range, please review the following sections in the Owner's Manual: "Cookware for Radiant Glass Cooktop" on pg. 10; "Cookware" on pg. 17.

QuestionDoes the WiFi setting allow you to fully control the stove elements and the oven. Most allow to control oven but I am looking to control and time of stove elements. At minimum I want to boil pasta for 12 minute and shut down when timer expires.

- Answer The remote control capabilities of this range are for the oven only. We do not currently offer a range or cooktop with full remote control of the cooktop elements.

One of the important considerations is to make sure the wall coverings, countertop, flooring, and cabinets around the range can withstand the heat (up to 200°F) generated by the range. - Answer We aren't sure of your question and request that you send us a private message on social media. Note: Flat bottom pans are essential for good cooking performance since the bottom of the pan needs to touch the glass for the best heat transfer. Most cookware brands sold nowadays have flat bottoms. Much older, used cookware and/or thinner cookware will often show signs of no longer being completely flat across the bottom of the pan. The touch-sensitive controls are a game-changer. Changing temp or time has never been easier! You can preheat on my way home or push a notification to your phone which is always nice.

- Answer Hi - Thank you for your interest in our beautiful Profile electric range. This model does not offer downdraft venting. If you wish to use a vent hood, you can choose a traditional vent hood or an over-the-range microwave which also functions as a vent hood to be installed above this range. QuestionEven though I had a few pans that worked they did not work like the induction flat bottoms. I use the Oven liners and place on top of stove then place the pans on top of liners to cook and my stove top stays so clean. can I change rating from 3 to 5 star?

We are grateful for the opportunity to let you know GE Appliances has not tested "cooktop safety protectors" for safety and reliability and do not recommend they be used on our ranges. We also do not recommend using any type of liner on the floor of your oven. Oven liners can cause premature failure of the heating elements and can also affect the calibration of the oven temperature. We appreciate the desire to make cleaning easier. However, not at the risk of causing expensive damage to your range. We do not have a way of updating a review. If you'd like to post a new review, we'd appreciate that. Wishing you all the best! QuestionAfter professional installation, there is over an inch wide gap between the back of the oven and the wall. Is there anything that I can do about the gap? If I can't adjust the position, can I purchase a separate cover to ensure nothing falls between?

- Answer Hello - All racks can be washed with warm, soapy water. Enameled (not shiny) racks can be left in the cavity during self clean. Racks may be more difficult to slide, especially after a self-clean. We recommend that you review pg. 22 of the owner's manual for instructions on how to properly clean the interior of your oven. - Answer Good day, Thanks so much for reaching out. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide that specific information. This range has a hidden bake element and a 6 pass broil element. Regarding the cooktop, our largest models are 36". We do have rangetops that are 48" from our Cafe & Monogram line, but they are installed differently than a normal cooktop. We also recommend looking into our Fit Guarantee option for replacing a cooktop. Stay well. Mike@GEA
