Q: QuestionHow is this washer on removing pet hair?
Asked by Mike.
- A:Answer We recommend utilizing the Air Fluff (no heat) setting on your dryer to help with pet hair removal. Place the items covered with pet hair in the dryer first for a 10-minute no-heat Air Fluff cycle, then wash and dry the items as usual. The Air Fluff cycle will remove a lot of the hair, and it will loosen up the remaining hair for better removal in the washer. -Vikki@GEAppliances

Q: QuestionHow much clearance do you need for this pair of Machines they are both 28 inches wide and 34 inches deep
Asked by Kalb.
- A:Answer This washer and dryer pair are 0-clearnace appliances. Meaning it is not necessary for additional clearances on the sides, top, front or back. However, to enable 0” clearance on the back of the washer, you must use 90° elbow hoses. Otherwise, you may require some additional clearance to avoid rubbing of the hoses against the back wall.

Q: QuestionWhere is the internal light located? Also the smart sense detergent area fill why is there a push button behind it? What is that for?
Asked by Texas.
- A:Answer The internal light is located on the right side of the interior rubber seal. When the door opens the light faces towards the interior drum. The ‘Push’ button behind the detergent fill tray is for complete removal of the tray. I would imagine if one would want to change their liquid detergent (as it holds at least 60 loads) they could push the button, pull the tray out to clean it then return it.

Q: Questionwhat does tank low mean
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This washer offers our SmartDispense Technology. This is our intelligent dispenser that holds up to 32 loads of detergent and automatically dispenses the perfect amount based on load weight and fabric type for optimal cleaning performance. At start up the unit displays Tank Low when the SmartDispense tank needs to be re-filled. Typically, this first lights up when there are approximately 8 - 10 loads of detergent remaining. If you aren't using the SmartDispense feature, press the SmartDispense button on the washer to turn the feature off. -Vikki@GEAppliances

Q: QuestionI choose to wash in cold water but when I take it out after it's done spinning, the clothes are warm. Why?
Asked by ayevee.
- A:Answer We're happy to assist you. We recommend checking to be sure the fill hoses on the back of the washer are connected properly and not reversed (cold-cold, etc.). Also, be aware, in the heat of the summer as the ground heats up, so does the water. Therefore, your clothes may feel warmer at the end of the cycle. Finally, the high-speed spin cycle on this unit may warm the clothes slightly. If you continue to have issues, please call our GE Appliances team of experts at Bodewell at 1-833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. ET to have your washer evaluated and repaired as needed. -Vikki@GEAppliances
