A:AnswerWe use vinegar in this machine but we add some baking soda. It works great as a softener in the baking soda will deacitify the vinegar. Mix it slowly because it'll foam over
A:AnswerIt used a standard plug so not sure but I would assume! No special plugs or equipment. It’s so compact which would be perfect for a trailer.
I would check with GE to be on the safe side but I don’t see why not.
A:AnswerThere are 4 bolts that are holding the drum in place so in theory I think you'd be ok - however I'd go to the GE website and look up the manual or contact them directly to confirm this is possible.
A:AnswerAlso note that this unit won’t have a vent hose behind it, so at least compared to my previous stacked gas dryer unit, this one can be approximately 5” deeper and still fit in the same space.
A:AnswerHello - Per the Energy Guide, the Combo uses an estimated yearly cost of 136kWh. This estimated energy cost is based off of six loads a week and a national average electricity cost of 14 cents per kWh. We hope this information is helpful. Thanks for taking the time to reach out. Best regards. -Don@GEA
A:AnswerHi - We are deeply sorry to hear you have concerns regarding the noise this unit makes and with the dry performance. Please double check to be sure the shipping bolts and brackets were removed from the unit when it was delivered and installed. Leaving either the brackets or shipping bolts in could cause excessive noise. We also recommend connecting your unit to your WiFi and our SmartHQ app to ensure you have received the latest over-the-air update which may improve your drying performance. If you continue to have issues, please call GE Appliances Service at 1-800-432-2737 to schedule a service appointment. We are confident our service technicians can help. Wishing you the very best! Vikki@GEA
A:AnswerHello - The Combo will run off 120V / 15 Amps. For this unit, we focused on building the most energy-efficient, full-sized Combo possible that can be installed with the existing 120V outlet already dedicated for your previous washer. Also, it allows for installation flexibility in other areas of the house too, but the Combo is very energy efficient and can wash and dry a full load of laundry in about two hours - without having to transfer a load. We hope that you choose to become part of the Profile family. All the best! -Don@GEA
A:AnswerHard to image the brains that went into development of this machine for over 7 years and no one thought to test it on the 16" pedestal...amazing....2,555 days of work and not one person said...'Ya think we should see if this will work the 16" pedestal that we make?"..
A:AnswerHello - You're certainly able to pull this unit out periodically to access your crawl space. As this model has a net weight of 302 lbs., we do recommend that you have assistance when you need to pull it out. Thank you for confirming this with us and choosing this UltraFast Combo for your home! -Kacie@GEA
A:AnswerIf you purchased the extended warranty you would call Best Buy Geek Squad. If you did not, you would go through GE customer service. Keep all purchase paperwork for the life of the machine. I suppose that since this is a new model, Geek Squad would probably have to partner with GE technical to solve any issue.
A:AnswerUsing the smart dispense detergent and fabric softener system you can change the amount dispensed from auto to less, and if you turn on the AI learning after a few washes the machine will auto dispense using the less setting
A:AnswerHaving spent much time trying to connect my machine to Google Home. And having had several phone calls with GE Appliances. I can report that GE Appliances says that right now because this is a new appliance the SmartHQ app does not work for Alexa or Google Home with Combo unit. They are working on adding that functionality, but as of August 22, 2023 it's not there.

A:AnswerHi there - We are sorry to hear you're having these issues with your Combo. We encourage you to ensure that the pump filter is clean, that your unit is draining properly, and that you're leaving enough room in each load for clothes to tumble so they can wash and dry properly. If these tips do not solve the issue, run a self-clean cycle before your next load. Know that if you need it, you do have a one-year warranty with us that you can take advantage of by calling 1-800-432-2737. One of our great servicemen would be happy to investigate why your model is dripping water and causing your clothes to have this bad smell. We're also here if you have additional questions. -Kacie@GEA
A:AnswerHello, Thank you so much for your interest in our new 2-in-1 combo! We designed this model with an easy installation in mind. You don't even need a dryer exhaust vent to take advantage of all this model has to offer. As long as the space you are putting it in has a hot and cold water hookup as well as a minimum 15 AMP/120 V dedicated circuit to plug into, then you can install it in your apartment. If we can answer any additional questions or you need anything else feel free to reach out and let us know. Sincerely- Dianna@GEA
