- Answer The unit does not come with a power cord. The customer needs to buy a cord and connect the wiring to the back of the washer. Not an easy task.

QuestionInstalled unit, washer works, dryer doesn’t even turn on. Electrical installed by electrician. so issue is w/unit &/or installation. Appreciate any troubleshooting! Also, @night (only), a blue light flashes on backside of unit, what is this indicating?

QuestionThe unit makes loud noises when it goes from one cycle to another. If it were a car, I'd for sure need a new transmission! To schedule service, I had to agree to pay (no estimate of how much) if noises were normal! Also is loud when spinning! Frustrating

QuestionOur washer will only fill anup about 1/5of tub. Brand new. Hoses and everything works. Please advice. We are trying to wash the first load.

- Answer Hi Inge- Thanks for choosing GE! The washer features auto-load sensing. It will automatically measure the load size and add just the right amount of water necessary for the load. The water fill will continue with the lid opened, except when Auto Load Sensing is selected as the load size. (The lid must be closed to continue filling when Auto Load Sensing is selected.) Make sure both Hot and Cold water faucets are fully on. The water pressure at the water inlet should be at least 20 psi. See page 5 regarding the water levels. This system requires less water while providing effective cleaning action. You may notice that the water level is lower than on your previous washer. QuestionHow large is the tub

- Answer It is 2.0 cu. ft. Not full size but bigger than most 24 in. washers. Holds easily a set of queen sheets with pillow cases. Could hold more but I haven't tried it.

QuestionI've had this unit 5 years and the washer broke. Had two repair guys look at it and said it was not worth repairing. The spinner rubs and I noticed when water started leaking that small ball bearings were at the base of the unit. Is this usual?

- Answer Im not sure about usual. After only 2yrs my transmission went out and one company said they didn't work on these units. The company that did respond gave a $750 repair estimate.

- Answer Hi Dean- Thanks for choosing GE! Unitized washer dryer units only have one power cord. There is not a separate cord for the washer and the dryer. Electric models should be connected to a dedicated 240V or 208V, 30-amp time-delay fuse or circuit breaker. The 240/208V will power the dryer, and the unit internally steps it down to 110/120V for the washer. The power cord should be purchased separately. - Answer It has a different kind of agitator that does not twist the clothes. It makes it quieter.

Carefully move the appliance to its final location using a dolly then gently rock the appliance into position.
