They also have the option for super sampling, which takes high end hardware but gives you the best VR experience available right now. Now, the answer to your question really depends on what you are using it for. Honestly a lot of the games out right now won't look much better than a cell phone game. Media won't be that much higher quality either. Factoring in the price difference, honestly the difference is very little until you start using AAA Games. If you are just looking for something to view VR media, buy this. If you are just interested in VR and do not have an already beefy computer (and I mean top of the line) buy this. Even if you are interested in the Oculus, buy this first if you have the phone already. This is the best entry point and the best experience available right now.
