Yes, although I would minimize the addition of extension cords for safety purposes. Think about it this way, Outlet > Power Strip > Extension Cord = that a lot going on. However, I have used it over the holidays in my Bedroom - four windows, three lamps. Of the four, two are part of a 'double window' so I used an extension cord with one of the power strip's outlets with no problem. I just wouldn't overdo it! I hope that helps. :)
