QuestionI am new to this smart technology & I understand that I can name each plug and control each plug how I would like to. I would like to purchase multiple strips, so could I, through the app, control multiple strips or can it only control just one strip?

- Answer I don't know what the limit is, but you can definitely have multiple devices. You will just have to give each surge protector a name in the app, then each outlet a different name and Alexa connects very easily.

QuestionLast question. I’ve set this up with my son’s Xbox One and figured out how to use that skill through Alexa. The projector is on the power strip which just cuts the power on or off. We still have to turn it on. Does using voice for that require a hub?

- Answer Unfortunately it's ht to get Alexa to turn on the projector. It's the same with my tv. Quick Remote is supposed to work with Alexa and actually turn the TV on and off but it doesn't work for me. All it can do is turn the plug off and on.

- Answer Yes, you can. Each plug can be named and voice controlled individually or you can voice control the entire strip to turn off all plugs simultaneously. I'm happy with mine. Seems to be well built with good materials.

QuestionDoes this have a button on it that bypasses the timers? All of the other ones I have seen have a button that just has to be pushed to bypass the timer. I am looking for one that cannot be bypassed.

QuestionDoes this strip have a right angle plug that sits flat against the wall or does the plug stick straight out from the wall?

- Answer This power strip has a three-prong plug that fits into the outlet straight-on...it does not have a 'thin-set' flat plug. I believe that the distance of the wire from the plug to the power strip is about 3'. I hope that helps.

- Answer Yes, it works through Google Assistant / Smart Speaker/Hub. You need to set up the Geeni devices with the downloadable application. Set up the Power Strip with a name and a 'room'. From there, each of the - individual outlets - can be assigned specific names. In my setup, I can say, "Hey, Google...Turn on "Power" [My name for the Power Strip"] and all of the outlets will turn on. As I have it set up, it controls the several printers I have for my computer setup. Canon Color Laser, HP Wide Format, Epson Photo, etc. So, I can say, "Hey, Google...Turn on "Canon" and the Canon Color Laser turns on promptly. I hope that helps. (BTW: I am not an Alexa fan. Many things specify "Works with Alexa" and don't mention Google Assistant. It's a marketing thing. THIS item DOES work [very well] with the Google Assistant devices/Hub.)

- Answer I would think the answer is yes - insofar as you can address each plug individually. However, it is NOT meant for outdoor use. I hope that helps.

- Answer Yes, although I would minimize the addition of extension cords for safety purposes. Think about it this way, Outlet > Power Strip > Extension Cord = that a lot going on. However, I have used it over the holidays in my Bedroom - four windows, three lamps. Of the four, two are part of a 'double window' so I used an extension cord with one of the power strip's outlets with no problem. I just wouldn't overdo it! I hope that helps. :)
