Q: QuestionPurchased this laptop 3 weeks ago, got it all set up the way I like it, then yesterday it decided it wont turn on anymore. No pwr lights, no bios, nothing. First time a brand new laptop just simply died on me, pretty lame. Anyone else experience this?

• A:Answer This laptop obviously has some quality control issues. There is no fix for this problem that I could find and was forced to do a warranty replacement. I got a new laptop from Gigabyte through their RMA process but they did not offer any explanation as to why my laptop stopped turning on. I had to pay shipping to their RMA facility in CA (~$100.00) which I think is terrible. A 3rd party warranty is probably advised for this particular laptop if you already have it. I would buy a different brand with a better warranty process if you are still on the fence about buying this laptop.

Q: QuestionI asked this question but did not get an accurate answer. Is there an empty SSD slot to add additional storage? The answer of the size of storage be upgradable is not the same question of is there an empty slot to add an additional SSD.

• A:Answer I bought this computer and added a 4TB SSD in the 2nd slot. It was easy. You only need a Phillips screw driver to take off the panel on the bottom. The only complaint i have was there was no screw to hold down the SSD for that extra slot. It doesn't move, and i found a solution, but was disappointed that the screw wasn't there.

• A:Answer The first answer is almost certainly wrong, technically speaking. It might have USB-C 4.0 which is just as good as Thunderbolt 4 for all practical purposes. But it’s an AMD CPU and only Intel and Apple have Thunderbolt (maybe rare exceptions). Can somebody who bought this laptop say if it has USB-C 4.0?

• A:Answer Yes. Right in the Product Images, says "Additional Expansion Slots" in relation to more DDR5 RAM possible versus what it comes with and more SSD Storage possible versus what it comes with. No way this thing has a space to put in a 2.5 inch drive, so its going to be M2.

Q: QuestionThe product title lists an NVIDIA RTX 5070, but the actual system model (AERO X16 1WH) only includes an AMD Radeon GPU. This caused confusion because the performance expectations are very different. it is about 10x slower than the rtx.
