- Answer You can save clips to the cloud, but there is a limit to how much. You can also download the clips.

- Answer You can share the stream to the public from the Nest Hello like you can with the Nest Cams. You can download clips and then upload them to be viewed by others through whichever source you'd like. You can also allow access to the live stream through the Nest app with Family Accounts. QuestionDoes it work with Alexa? If it does does Alexa chime?

- Answer It works with Alexa, but Alexa will not chime. It works with their video platform (Echo Show, Echo Spot, Fire TV) as you can see in the pic I attached. It's VERY fast, usually streams to a remote video device in <5secs. If you want the doorbell to chime, get a Google Home Mini. It'll even announce if it's a person you know (you have to subscribe for that). I already ordered two Home Minis for this purpose.

QuestionWhat app do you need for this doorbell? Google Home or the Nest app? I see conflicting information on the web. I just bought one and want to make sure I install the correct app on my phone. Also, was hoping I could view on my PC. Is this possible?

- Answer See pic I added below. Not sure about viewing on your PC. I downloaded the App & followed the instructions from the App to set up once door bell is installed.

QuestionThis is a Google owned company. I use Google extensively including 2TB of google drive. There is no reason why I would need to pay "extra" to record video, since I should be able to record directly to my Google drive. What is up with this?

- Answer That's just their setup for now, unfortunately. Do keep in mind that Nest Aware includes more than just recording features, such as face detection and package detection.

- Answer Yes, it works in the rain. Even when we have Georgia downpours. I don’t have an overhang so it is always exposed. I’ve had no issues with it for 2 years.

QuestionI've never been super happy with my Ring doorbell to begin with, but now I find that every time I want to access the system i have to wait for Ring to send me a 6 digit code in order to authenticate the system. Does the Nest Hello do this also?

- Answer Once you save your username and password in the App, all you have to do is click on the icon and it will bring everything Nest you own up. Even with the Notifications you can click on it, and view without entering any other code.

QuestionOn the off chance I am not glued to my phone, is there a ring tone that comes through my Google Home Minis or my Google Nest Hub? Or will it somehow activate my existing chimes? Thanks.

- Answer I have mine wired into my existing mechanical doorbell chime and it sounds it just fine, along with the alert on my phone, whenever someone rings the doorbell.

- Answer Yes, but you will need some kind of power solution sold separately. You'll need to get either a wall-wart and wire it up to a nearby outlet, or wire up a doorbell transformer and run wire to it like a normal doorbell. Preferably from the attic or ceiling.

- Answer Hi Gpm, This is only a camera and a doorbell, it is not a door lock. You would need to buy a door lock that is compatible with Alexa, Echo Show or Nest app in order for you to open the door for someone... thx.. jax

QuestionIs there a monthly fee for Nest video viewing & capturing cuz my pet camera requires a monthly fee for anything more than four hours retained. But my backyard camera is unlimited with the SD card no fee how does this nest video work?

- Answer Yes it is battery powered. It has an internal non-replaceable battery. The battery is used to power the doorbell if you have a chime unit inside your house since the house transformer can't power the chime and doorbell at the same time.

QuestionIs this unit compatible with multi MGHZ WiFi/ 5 MGHZ? Had a Ring but it only worked with 2.4 MGHZ. Switched to Xfinity which uses a multi-level WiFi unit that 5 MGHZ. Unable to connect. Will buy this one if it’s compatible with xfinity WiFi.

QuestionMy door is on the side of my home facing my neighbors house. How would I get a clear view of people coming from the left of the doorway and the doorbell is sort of inside a small alcove ( instead of just a shot of person at the door)?

- Answer The doorbell does come with a 15 degree angle piece. This allows you to angle in either direction right or left to open up the view of the camera. The field of view is large and it actually captures more than you would think. However the alcove may be the biggest problem. Not sure there is a solution for that unless you consider re-locating the ringer.
