- Answer Mine worked it was lighted. Nest is engineered to work with low voltage. please ensure that your wifi is strong enough out there. i had nest cams already out there so that wasn't going to be an issue. you may need to search that voltage to be exact but you'd need to see how much you get now as well.

- Answer You don't have to pay for the service. You can see recent activity as a photo. It will tell you that someone is at the door with or without ringing the bell.

Questionthe Sound is unchecked for recording but I’m still getting recordings labeled sound. This is a very frustrating experience as it doesn’t seem to be user friendly and adjustable at all. Either something is on or off but no sensitivity adjustment

- Answer The reason the notification is labelled "sound" is just to make you aware what was detected. With sound turned off it will not record audio even if that's what is detected. Your doorbell is working properly.

- Answer I would think a little clear caulk is all you need. I don't have stucco, but my wall isn't perfectly smooth, caulk is all I did & it worked fine.

- Answer You get a 30 day trial, then it is $60 per year ($5 a month). The best part is they changed the subscription model so all cameras are now included in one price. I believe you can retrieve videos up to 5 days on that tier. You can go longer if you want. As far as warranty if it is stolen, I would say no. The camera, when mounted properly, won't be the easiest thing to steal.

- Answer No it does not swivel. It has a 15degree angle mount that you can use if your doorbell is on the side wall to your door. There are also third party sellers that sell 30degree angle mounts if 15 isn’t enough for you.

- Answer No, it does not. This version of the Nest Hello is meant to be wired with existing doorbell wiring.

QuestionI live in southern Cali where it can get pretty hot can this stand 120 degree weather without messing up? The doorbell is under shade at all times if that helps

- Answer Live in Florida . My camera Hello Doorbell is in shaded area and no issues. My relatives have not had any issues with their camera. This camera is very clear . . I highly recommend Hello doorbell.

- Answer Subscription is optional (offers ability to view video history, for a time). I pay $5 a month and I think that gives me 5 days of rolling history. I believe you can get 10 days for $10 and 30 days for $30. I did read they are changing to a $6 a month plan for 30 days and offering additional plans for multiple devices and/or users?

- Answer I presume they are both equitable and would both have the same issues. If you're talking about security from your end - just ensure that you secure your wifi appropriately and you should be fine.

- Answer You have to subscribe to Nest Aware, basic package is $5 a month. However, they have different rates depending how far back you want to keep recordings in their cloud. I think you can download the clips but I don't think it will be compatible with ADT since they are two separate companies.
