Yes, any Pixel 2 XL will work with Project Fi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I pre-ordered 10/04.... I've yet to receive my phone. It is now 11/06. If you plan on seeing using it before Christmas. I would probably buy it from Google fi or Google itself. As for your question yes you can use a Best Buy phone on Google fi. The pixel comes unlocked. Would a Verizon sim card pre-installed. I'm just going to pop out the Verizon sim. Put in my Google fi SIM card. Download the Google fi app. Turn on the phone. It should run you through startup procedures for Google fi. Technically the pixel comes with a built-in SIM card for Google fi. I just haven't tried that route yet with a new phone. It may prompt you about that in the original setup. Just remember to take out the Verizon sim before you fire it up.
