It gets very difficult when you are activating a Chromebook in China. Various data services require that the device be able to contact Google servers to function properly. If this is important to you, make arrangements with a VPN provider before you go and configure the VPN in your Pixelbook. There are several good ones that cost @ 5 to $10 a month.
Use crossover app instead of windows 10. It works fine on i5 and no need for i7.
