QuestionWould this work as a dash cam? I want to record 6-8 hours of snow plowing for proof of service and damage claims. How wide of a view would it give? What is the max recording time for a 512 Gig card? Thanks.

- Answer The HERO11 Black does have a looping feature, so it could be used as dash cam without needing to fill an entire SD card. As for how much could be recorded, that will be depend on the settings you use. With a 512GB card, you could potentially record more than 12 hours though, and potentially even longer than that. One issue you'd want to look into is how to power the camera for that long, but since the HERO11 Black can use external power, that should be an easy solution.

- Answer In Response to: The HERO11 Black does include a carrying case. --Answered by GoPro Support 3 months ago About that case, I just purchased GoPro 11 June 14th 2024 and it did not have the case included, though it does advertise as "carrying case included". If you could please let us know how to obtain this case or maybe GoPro should update the actual contents included. Thank you.

- Answer The HERO11 Black can shoot videos at up to 5.3K. The videos you shoot are saved to an SD card used in the camera as standard mp4 files, so you can use most popular editing programs or upload them as they are to YouTube and many other platforms. Also, through the GoPro Quik app, you can pair the camera to most smartphones to move the videos onto your phone to share.

- Answer All of the current GoPro cameras are great for this type of analysis. If you're looking for great slow-motion shots of your swing, the HERO11 Black is a great option. The HERO11 Black can shoot at 240 frames per second (fps) in 2.7K. 240fps means you can slow down the video by 8 times normal speed and still see it in a smooth 30fps video.

- Answer Yes, great camera for that. When you’re not recording the birds, mount on your car during road trip, hiking, bicycling, jumping into the pool and everything else. There’s no limit to what you can do with GoPro.

- Answer My GoPro 11 Black Action was NEW when I originally purchased it. It has creatures that I, as a professional photographer use often, and I bought three extra batteries. You can also use it to “live stream” your activities. I recommend buying it new. - kd

- Answer Yes but on wifi which u have to set up beforehand. If you have the proper cable it will also connect directly to your phone OR it will connect through the app vis bluetooth. I have done all 3.

- Answer Yes. I mt bike in dusty conditions and have had no problems. You have to stop once in a while to wipe dust off the lens. Also becareful when changing batteries so you don’t introduce dust or dirt in the battery compartment.

- Answer From our testing, we've found that the Chesty comfortably fits men who wear a 3XL shirt, and it may work with up a 4XL size as well.

QuestionDoes the hero 11 have the protune feature to manually adjust the picture? And will the camera get hot and shut down if recording for a couple hours. My GoPro 7 gets hot and shuts down after running a couple battery’s thru it back to back.

- Answer The HERO11 Black does have Protune so you can access advanced settings options for your photos and videos. For the issue of the camera getting hot, if you are shooting long clips at the highest resolutions, or are in a static environment, we recommend taking some of the steps listed later in this article to provide additional airflow. We have tips on the GoPro site for how to improve the thermal performance of the HERO11 Black to allow for longer video recordings.

- Answer Battery life will depend on the settings you choose. At higher resolutions and frame rates, you should get a little more than 50 minutes of recording time. At lower resolutions and frame rates, you could get as much as two hours and fifteen minutes of recording time.
