Completely different things. The pivot arm allows you to mount your camera at a 90 degree angle and/or lean the camera side to side. The grip / arm / tripod is a mount to attach your camera to.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is just the 2 extensions they send with the camera. When mounted to a mount and camera it allows you to adjust at 3 points. It is completely different from the tripod mount/grip
