• Completely different things. The pivot arm allows you to mount your camera at a 90 degree angle and/or lean the camera side to side. The grip / arm / tripod is a mount to attach your camera to.

• If you are referring to a gorilla tripod..similar to the goose neck. You can mount the GoPro anywhere and wrap the arms around anything that you need to.

• pretty much the same. except not really a "triPod" just like a stand.

• It is just the 2 extensions they send with the camera. When mounted to a mount and camera it allows you to adjust at 3 points. It is completely different from the tripod mount/grip

• Those arms are to set the GoPro at certain direction depending on what mount you are using. You can find more help in YouTube about mounts and help with lots of tips on how to use the GoPro.
