• A:Answer I have this refrigerator. I have a very small kitchen and the space for my refrigerator is next to a wall on the right side of the fridge. I cannot open the door much beyond 90° on the right side because of this; however, I can completely open the crisp drawer and I can even remove it to clean it and replace it. With that said, you should be aware that in order to remove the shelves, the doors have to open more fully so you should have the shelves in the spaces you want them in before you install it in the space if you will not be able to open the doors at a wider angle. There are 4 shelves and 5 sloths so you do have a bit of an option on how you want the shelves arranged...do that before you put the fridge in its space and remove all the packing stuff. I've included a couple of photos to show you that the draw will come out with the door opened only at a 90° angle. BTW, I ❤️❤️❤️ this refrigerator. It is so nice.

Q: QuestionAre the shelves in the fridge section of the unit removable and/or adjustable? Based on the pictures, it is unclear if it could fit larger beverage pitchers (gallon or more) or juice bottles in the fridge.

Q: QuestionIf slid into a 28 inch wide alcove, when the doors are open 90°, do they need space beyond the 28 inch width to open? Can the refrigerator drawer slide out if the doors are only open 90°?

• A:Answer Hi there - We're glad you reached out to us about this. This refrigerator is designed for freestanding installation only. It should not be recessed or built-in an enclosed cabinet. Additionally, the width of this model with the doors open 90 degree is 29-5/8 inches, so it sounds like it wouldn't be able to open up properly in the space you described and you wouldn't have proper access to the drawers and shelves inside. There is a drawer in side of the top of the refrigerator called the cool zone that lets you customize temperature for your vegetables, beverages, or meats. We hope this helps you decide.
