- Answer Hello Meme - This model allows clothes to dry without the need for external venting; only requires a water hookup and standard outlet for installation. You will need to purchase a power cord separately. The clothes should fully dry using just one cycle. - TREY@HAIER

- Answer The amount of water used varies with the size of the load but an average cycle will use about 7 gallons of water. Check the manual or the website for specific drain installation instructions.

QuestionInterested...i live in an apartment with no laundry hookups and would need to install this to my kitchen faucet. However, the included hoses will be way to short. I am estimating that I need about 12 ft of water hose and also drain hose. Is this possible?

QuestionWhere does the lint go or how do you clean the lint out?

- Answer I have this dryer. I have had to take it apart 3 times to clean lint out of the fan blades and the heating element. doing away with a lint trap was a bad idea. the dryer has a MAJOR design flaw. I will be contacting the company to discuss.

QuestionI purchased this unit and i am very happy with your product. But i am wondering what steps i have to do to ensure proper winterizing of this unit. Please advise i am going to unhook from water supply but i am worried about remaining water in the unit?

- Answer Hello Ron1 - To prevent damage, the washer should be stored in a space that will not see the temperature drop below 32 degrees F. If that is not possible: Disconnect the hoses from the water supply and drain out the water from the hoses. Remove washer drain hose from drain. Lay hose on the floor and allow water to drain into a shallow pan or on the ground. Carefully raise the front of the washer 4" to 6" to allow any remaining water in the pump to drain out of the drain hose. Be advised that any water remaining in the tub or drain pump will expand upon freezing and potentially cause damage. When it's time to use the washer again, simply connect the hoses at the faucets and turn the faucets back on, plug the washer back in to wall receptacle. - TREY@HAIER

- Answer No, there is no vent as a traditional clothes dryer would use. It does require water and drain for dryer function but it's the same as for the washer.

QuestionIf the drying cycle has not completed, how can I release the doorlock to take an item out? I tried pause and shutting it down completely and waited about ten minutes, but the lock does not seem to release. Thanks!

- Answer Hello. During the drying cycle, the door will remain locked until the temperatures inside the drum have cooled down to a safe temperature. If you power off or pause the dryer mid-cycle, the cooling time can take several minutes before the door will unlock. Thank you for checking. Olga

- Answer Not that I can find. Thought it was the little door on the bottom, but it only gathers loose buttons, etc. Tried customer service, I don't think they knew said read page 26 of the manual - page 26 is the door at the bottom, no help. I don't think there is one, but it has to go somewhere??
