The short answer is yes. I have google home devices throughout my home and at my office however, I find it to be a difficult integration (and I'm pretty savvy). The best part about the google platform is how quickly and effectively they update and adjust to problems. I will tell you I also have several "smart things" devices and since smart things were purchased by Samsung, the integration with Google has become much better. I bring this up because Smart Things are ziggbee. So- in short, it works but there are bugs right now that are being worked through.
