QuestionI have a Honeywell VisionPRO series thermostat with Redlink that requires a gateway to connect with the internet. I would like to replace it with a Honeywell smart thermostat to avoid purchasing a gateway. Is there an advantage to the Redlink system?

- Answer Hi, the only advantage would be that it is a wireless connection in case that you don't have enough wires to run to your thermostat. So if you have enough wires to run to your thermostat from your system you should be fine. QuestionWill this thermostat turn on A/C for temp or humidity? As an example, if thermostat is set to 80F and humidity to 55% will it turn on A/C at anything above 55% humidity if the house is under 80F

QuestionI do not have Wi-Fi at this location can this thermostat be operated just by cellular data which would be a great improvement if not because a lot of places in Florida do not have the Internet that is reliable

QuestionMy house is old and I KNOW I don’t have a c-wire leading to my thermostat. I’ve read that there are instructions to jump it by using the fan wire. BUT does that mean I can’t independently control the fan, then? We don’t have AC and use the fan in summer

QuestionCan someone verify for me if there is an aux heat notification when a heat pump switches on the heat strips. Not interested in the manual setting indication for emergency heat. Just would like to know when the strips actually come on to supplement.

- Answer If you go into the advanced settings, you should be able to change the limit of temperature…meaning you can raise or lower the minimum and maximum temp…we also had the same issue until we made that adjustment

- Answer The actual LCD screen is 2.125" Tall X 3.75" Wide It is very easy to view from even a distance. You can also adjust the brightness levels of the backlight to suit your needs. Very happy with the thermostat so far. We have an older smart/wifi Honeywell stat that has worked very well for several years. So I wanted to stay with Honeywell, as they have a great app for controlling the stats via wifi. Also works great with our Google Home devices.

- Answer No it does not, you can set the stat to Circulate and it will randomly run the fan about 35% per hour.
