QuestionI recently bought the Honeywell Quietset 8. On any fan speed setting the rpms of the motor go up and down constantly while its on. Is there something wrong with the fan? If this is normal it's very annoying and I will have to return it.Thanks for any help

QuestionI received my 2 white quiet tower fans from Honeywell last week. I have only begun using one, a the weather isn't too warm just yet. When I use the osillating feature, the fan makes a grinding sound after it rotates to the left. Help.

- Answer I've found if you give it a good little twist when it makes that sound it resets the oscillation cuz it's trying to keep going but it's at its limit

QuestionWhen I turn my fan on, it is always set not to oscillate, even if it was oscillating when I last turned if off. It remembers the speed, but not the oscillation setting. Do others' fans do this? I wish it remembered the setting.

- Answer I use a paint brush and small hand vacuum, then wipe it down with disinfecting wipes and let it dry.

QuestionCan you turn the lights off on the fan while it’s still running and if you can then how do you do that. I have difficulties sleeping when the lights are shining in my face and making the room to bright to sleep.

QuestionIf the fan is on and the power goes out... will the fan turn back on when the power comes back on, or is it a momentary power button that needs to be pushed again? I want to leave it turned on and controlled by a smart wall plug.
