A:AnswerIf your local store doesn't have it in stock, you can buy and have it shipped to the store. I actually bought my daughter this vacuum and had it shipped to her local store.
A:AnswerConsider contacting Hoover. The only problem I had with the Turbo Tool, was figuring out how it attached for storage (the first time). Once I figured it out, it fits snug. Hoover would AND should be able to fix that.

Unfortunately, this is not a self-propelled unit. Currently, the only unit we sell that is self-propelled is our Hoover Anniversary Self-Propelled WindTunnel Bagged Upright Vacuum (Model#: U6485900PC). Thank you!

However, I had already contacted those phone numbers, finally made contact with someone half way around the world, explained the situation, asked if she could help with the problem, was put on hold... waited... and was then "disconnected".
