- Answer Yes, but not with a standard printer. You can get a free app to print to any network computer.

Questioncan you reccomend a printer that is compatible with the chromebook?I am thinking of buying the chromebook if I can get a printer that will work with it that won't cost a fortune! any suggestions? also does this chromebook accommodate a disk -say for viewing photos that are on a disk

- Answer Any printer that is a google cloud printer works great. Or take any printer at all and on a windows or Mac install google chrome, then in the settings add said printer as a "cloud " printer and then it would work. Example. I have a laser printer about 15 years old, I set it up as a google cloud printer in my desktop using google chrome, I print just fine from all my laptops, chromebook and cell phones from not only home but no matter where I am as long as I have internet. I print schoolwork for my daughter who is homeschooled while I'm at work. Hope that helps.

QuestionThis Chromebook has a standard SIM card slot, right?Also, if I purchased it off-contract would I be able choose any provider for the LTE service?

- Answer Only the LTE-enabled model will work for cellular data. This model costs an extra $20-$25 (I forget exactly), and will also need to be connected to a cellular data provider which will obviously charge for the data usage (or can be used on WIFI only). The sales associate I spoke with told me that it would only work with Verizon, but you might want to do some searching to confirm. If I remember correctly, there was no SIM card slot. There definitely was no SIM card provided separate from the computer, so I think it comes pre-installed.

- Answer It's not super bright and clear like the Ipad retina display, but I haven't had any problems. It opens wide, allowing many viewing angles. The 4G works great. I opted not to go with the Ipad Air retina display, because its heavier than this Chromebook, it runs a lot hotter, and I did not want to risk an expensive tablet getting damaged, lost or stolen.

- Answer There is a wifi only version. You can buy this without activating the 4G but you will pay the full $279

Questionwould you recomand a chromei am trying to get a laptop that is just a little bit higher than 200 dollars and i want it to last a long time and it has to be good at any time of the day. Also i am asking for it to have at least 12-24 gig if you know a laptop that i could have in this type of quality that would be great. COMMENT BELOW

- Answer Be very careful. Verizon screwed up my account, and added another line, even though I was already paying for an internet line. Be very careful. Also, I had problems with that H/P Chromebook. It kept switching out of 3G into 4G and backwards too. I returned the computer. I'll never buy another Chromebook again.

- Answer The two year contract is for the 4G LTE. It means that if you buy the HP Chromebook 11 and you want to make it 4G LTE compatible, you could choose a 2 year plan with Verizon and get $100 off the Chromebook.

- Answer Yes, I have had no issues pairing chromecast with this chrome book. In fact I think it does work better then my IBM compatible laptops, it seams to 'buffer' less frequently and pulls up videos faster.

- Answer That is a question for the store itself. I had to return for other reasons but they let me within the guidelines (14 days for guests and 45 days for elite plus members) my issue was the micro USB cord broke, since I can feather my cell phone for internet I went with the other HP model that has a normal charging cord not the micro USB. I was at 34 days (I am an elite member so I have 45 days) best buy had no issues returning It.

- Answer The mouse I had worked fine. I have read that some mouses (mainly the wireless ones that require a driver) don't work but a standard everyday USB mouse should work fine. My mouse did.

QuestionDoes this laptop have a CD/DVD drive?I'm been seeing lots of laptops with out the driver, I like to play the sims and or listen to CDs or watch a DVD on the computer. Main question is is there one cause I didn't see it in the photos.

- Answer BB gave a discount for activating the device at the store w/ Verizon. I chose the month to month plan which gave a $50 discount on the purchase. Bigger discount for a 2 yr plan though ($100). The plan I got was $30/mo but Verizon charged me a $35 activation fee on top of that.
