• A:Answer While this Chromebook did come out in 2022, the AUE is based on the release date of the system board inside the Chromebook not the release of the Chromebook itself. The N4120 CPU and the boards based around it came out in 2019 which is why the AUE is 2027.

• A:Answer Setup on a new chromebook is easy and intuitive (not any harder than setting up a cellphone). It is "unlocked" when you get it. It will "work" without wi-fi, but it is MUCH more powerful and useful with a wi-fi connection. You can use your cellphone as a hotspot (that is, as a "network" sorta like your router at home), and hook up to the internet anywhere (in a car, the park, etc.). Hope this helps!

• A:Answer In theory, yes. It would require buying a copy of Windows, formatting the hard drive and then installing Windows. However, because the computer has only 64 gigabytes of storage, there would be little else he could install on the computer. A better option would be to get a computer that comes with Windows already installed.

Q: QuestionDoes this Chromebook only work with wifi? Or will I be able to use it without wifi? I just want to make sure before I buy it I never had one. I want to be able to use it at the park, in my car, and such.

• A:Answer Yes, it will, but be aware that some apps and services won't work. One option is to turn on the "hotspot" feature on your phone. That will create a portable WiFi network that you can use to put the computer online.

• A:Answer Assuming you're talking about the processor, there are two speeds listed for it. The "base speed" is 1.1 GHz. Think of that being like the idle speed of a car engine. And just like a car engine, the processor can speed up as its workload increases. The Celeron N4120 processor in this computer can speed itself up to 2.6 GHz.
