The type-c connector on this uses USB 3.1, which has a theoretical bandwidth of 10 Gbps. Most wired networks are gigabit (older ones might only be 100Mbps, the fastest can be 10Gbps), so the USB port won't be the bottleneck. You still need an adapter, though.
