I purchased a different brand with upgrades and it didn’t work properly on day 1 ( not from Best Buy) I returned and saw this model and grabbed it up. I am not a fan of the Windows 10 S, so I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro. For the price, this machine is awesome. I told my I T friends about it and they were surprised to see these specs at this price. Fast start up, plenty of memory, and the touch screen is a bonus. HP makes great products, and this laptop does not disappoint. I have an external floppy and disc drive, as well as external SSD drive, so this laptop will be perfect for everything I will need. I purchased at regular price, and when I picked it up, they offered at $100 less. I called Best Buy, and they refunded the $100. Even at the regular price, this laptop was a great deal. I almost want to buy a second one for my wife.

the good: very fast. The touch screen is a major plus. If you have hand problems...wrist or finger issues buy it. It very lightweight. the touch screen is very nice to have...after being all the rage and than disappearing from them. it just makes sense to have one. its very natural. the keyboard is also very nice and easy to type on with out moving to much. 12 gig of ram is badass. ssd is very fast. Cons: Viewing angles good be better, an i.p.s screen would make almost a home run. the vent for the fan is centered in the laptop, and pointed up towards the screen...very smart. Using only one fan ...risky and loud. Its a solid 8 out of 10. a black lit keyboard would be nice, but with the highly refective screen? maybe an issue . also all plastic body.

Purchased this Laptop at the end of April. At that time it was on sale for $499 from the current $599 price. That was the first thing to get my attention. Next was the 12 GB of Ram. I was hoping to get at least 8 GB, but with this Laptop having 12 GB, that pretty much had me sold. Purchase was during the lock-down, so I had it shipped to my house and it arrived the next day! Laptop has a nice silver color which looks nice, yet simple. It is light weight, making it easier to carry around. I removed the stickers that normally come on the bottom of the keyboard, I am not a fan of leaving them on, and removing them was very easy. This Laptop is fast, responsive, easy to use and overall user friendly. Came initially with the Windows S Mode which I did not like, but changing that to Windows Home took seconds. I did buy a wireless mouse as I am not a fan of the mouse keypad on any laptop. The keyboard is easy to use and comfortable. Here are my Pros and Cons: Pros: - Fast, great deal for a Laptop with 12 GB of Ram - Looks sleek, yet modern - Easy to use and user friendly - Great quality and light weight - Can't beat the price, especially when its on sale for $100 off - Speakers sound great Cons: - Has the touchscreen which I do not really care for and this screen doesn't look great at certain angles (I'd prefer if this exact Laptop did not have the touchscreen) - WiFi is good, but sometimes can go in and out - Back lit keyboard would be nice - Power button is a bit small, would be better if it were bigger Overall, this is a great Laptop for the price. For most people, this will do just fine. It can handle the average user's tasks and internet needs. Highly recommend this for anyone who wants a good Laptop without all the extras (like gaming, this is likely not the laptop for gamers)

All I can say is that it’s fast and really great! For gaming it’s meh, I won’t recommend hard core games on this laptop , Fortnite and Minecraft Run decently great! Great video editor as well! The only bad thing I can say is that the touch screen panel is very Cool but the colors are somewhat dull. Colors don’t pop out as much and are not as vivid as I wanted it to be but I hooked it up to a monitor that does 1920x1080 and it looks FABULOUS. Overall it’s a great laptop for the price ($499). This laptop is a great laptop. It is extremely lightweight and thin. It has a touchscreen that is very responsive that I use very often. I use this for a small business and it can handle everything I need. It is super quick never lagging. I would suggest this laptop if you are in need of one.

Exactly what I expected and more. Easy to carry around. Was very easy to set up and start using. Number pad had the zero where it should be. Last PC the zero was placed where it was hard to get to. Wasn’t natural. Great computer.

Its a great the best computer i have purchased. The speed is so good in so sastified the Camera is so perfect also light weight.

Its really easy to use. Letting my kids use it a headache at times because the touchscreen is real sensitive and they always click on things. It gets a little warm on the venting part. Overall I like it. Just got get use to it.

LOOOOOVE my laptop, it is the best one I've had to date. Keeps me organized, up to date, my calendar can be linked to several emails (example: yahoo, gmail, etc), and the value & price are worth it. Had to buy antivirus program online, but that wasn't expensive, and this computer is almost a year old. Microsoft has its quirks, but it is a good system and it has its own store and you can link your cell phone to your laptop and receive/make calls and messages from your computer while you are on it, which is very convenient. Love that feature because of Duo for Android phones. Many features that are better if not comparable to a chromebook, but has a lot of memory and is a little safer and more reliable.

I am overwhelmed with everything the laptop can do. Still learning something new every day. It's light weight and portable so I can take it anywhere in the house. I bought an HP printer which I haven't hooked up yet. Microsoft support is available when I need it for the laptop. Technology has certainly changed/improved when I compare the laptop to the computer I purchased 17 years ago!

...that being said; all computers, servers, storage containment, etc on the market today, are pretty much built by the same people in warehouses not in the USA. You'll find the same quality this HP has in 98% of the other brands. ... But, it's still a good laptop.

I like tablet mode even though I don’t use it much. It’s good for multitasking. Nice speakers, nice camera. There’s nothing to complain about. ❤️

This HP was a pretty easy transition from my old Acer. It's really slim and, so far, fast.

Laptop was used only three times and got screen damage, nothing broken it was always in its bag and see the photos now what should I do

This is the best performing Windows laptop I've ever owned. I recently got rid of an underwhelming Lenovo laptop with very similar specs, and this HP blows it away. One thing to know about the AMD Ryzen 5 machines with Radeon Vega graphics is that the graphics card will reserve 2GB of RAM as "hardware reserved," so even though Radeon Vega is a plus, you can subtract 2GB of memory right off the top. This is why the 12GB is such a great feature of this laptop. My former Lenovo machine only had 8GB, so I really only had 6GB. This HP machine boots up and shuts down lightning fast. I was very concerned about the 1366 x 768 HD resolution monitor, because this was a spec that I really didn't want to skimp on and I really wanted a glossy, full HD IPS screen. However, this laptop has the best 1366 x 768 screen I've ever used. Viewing angles are better than I expected, and white is actually WHITE, and not blue like on most cheap screens. My daily driver is an iMac, but I could easily edit photos in Lightroom with this computer. The top-facing speakers are exceptional, only rivaled by MacBook speakers IMO. The case is plastic, but overall it looks very nice. The keyboard is pretty good, and much better than Dell and Lenovo keyboards in this price range. I highly recommend this laptop. I paid full price for it ($599.00), and I think it's worth every penny.

The laptop is a silver color (looks nice) that is lightweight, making it easier to carry around. Initially installed with Windows S Mode which I did not like, but changing that to Windows Home took seconds. I will be buying a wireless mouse as my son prefers over the keypad on any laptop. The keyboard is easy to use and comfortable. Pros: - Fast, great deal for a laptop with 12 GB of RAM - Appears good quality (for HP) and lightweight - Excellent price point - Better than average sound quality Cons: - Has the touchscreen which I do not really care for and this screen doesn't look great at certain angles - Back-lit keyboard would have been nice - Power button is a bit small, would prefer larger Overall, this is a great laptop for the price. I bought this hp touchscreen laptop for my daughter's birthday. She already had an hp laptop that she got for Christmas last year, but it was slow and would freeze a lot. So I refused to get her pretty much the same crappy thing, even though that is the only present she was asking for. So that's when I thought a touchscreen laptop would be pretty cool and different. But omg, the prices for these laptops are so high, I was starting to lose hope. But then, browsing through bestbuy.com I found this laptop for about $500 and it was the best deal I found. I am so happy that I bought it. The touchscreen works great, and man is it fast! My daughter can have multiple tabs open, play roblox, watch youtube videos and google Billie Eilish and it really doesn't freeze!! I don't really know anything at all about "processors" and "all that stuff" but I think the "AMD RYZEN 5" is what makes this laptop work so fast. But don't quote me on that, lol. I'm so glad I went with this laptop. Thank you Best Buy.
