QuestionWhy would you build a monitor without VESA mounting holes? Is there any kind of dual monitor stand I can use these on?

- Answer Because the emphasis was on the thinness of the monitor. Vesa holes would run the risk of penetrating the back of the IPS panel and damaging the unit.

- Answer If you press the button on the far left (still on the right side of the monitor) twice, then the settings menu along with the control labels for the buttons will pop up on the screen. I added a pic to show you what pops up on the screen once your press the left-most button twice.

- Answer I recommend taking it back to the store and exchanging the product. There should be a cord in there.

QuestionIs this monitor good for computer mmorpg gaming? Is the graphic quality good? There was a previous question about hooking it up to a ps4. I'm not tech savvy enough to know if this question is redundant, sorry.

- Answer For the average gamer like myself, yes, this monitor works fine with games. I average 2 - 4 hours a week of gaming, so for me, it appears great! If you're avid or extremely passionate, constant gamer, then there are better monitors, however, they also cost significantly more. I think in general, MMOs aren't necessarily known for running the most advanced graphic code (don't email me a bunch of hate; I'm not knocking MMOs!!!); developers try to keep them at a level that will still run well online.

QuestionWith the screen being so thin doe/s it feel strong or is the likelyhood of it being damaged in transport from home to office or just through standard bumping more of a risk compared to the HP 27vx Model for example?

- Answer I find the quality of this monitor despite how thin it is to be very durable. But with any electronic equipment that you covet, be careful in the way you transport the monitor between office and home. I have cargo blocks that attach to the inside surface of my truck with velcro. You can get a set of them on Amazon. Those would be good for transporting in the trunk along with maybe wrapping the screen portion in a soft sheet or towel to for extra buffer against bumpy roads.

- Answer Typically, most of them are. However, HP has manufacturing facilities in several countries, and parts made in one country may be assembled in another, so there's not one simple yes or no answer.

- Answer I recently learned HP Management elected to pay for all HP monitors to be assembled or made in China. Because of this my technology company is dumping ALL of them to be replaced with a high quality product - NOT MADE IN CHINA. View Sonic monitors are made in Taiwan - NOT CHINA. View Sonic has been around since the mid-90's. Its a great product, with a great reputation. Beginning with my staff who are working from their home, I have directed all monitors to be replaced with View Sonic monitors. I was the first to receive my set of three View Sonic monitors. QuestionI just bought this HP monitor and have it on the highest resolution setting of 1920 X 1080. Everything looks Ok except my spread sheets which look absolutely awful. Is there something wrong with monitor? Last one looked great at same resolution.

- Answer Look at the bottom right corner of your spreadsheet and adjust the slider till your spreadsheet looks like you want it to look. It should be around 100% but if it is below 80% or higher than 120% it will look too big or too small.

QuestionHow many frames per second?

- Answer I think you are more worried about the refresh rate. The FPS is more throttled by the output of your GPU. If you have a low grade GPU and a high refresh rate on the monitor, than the monitor will only be so good.. If you have a gaming or high quality GPU, than you need to compare the refresh rate of the monitor to the FPS your GPU can output. In this case the refresh rate is 60hz on this monitor. That's kind of a low end refresh rate. If you wanted a higher rate to go with a better GPU. I would suggest a 240hz. Also I think that HDMI connections are limited to 60hz if im not mistaken. You would need a DVI connection in order to get the higher rate. You could use a VGA cable on these, and attach a DVI connector to it. But you would still be limited to the 60hz rate. Hope that helps!
