Is the 3 1/2" drive bay empty? null

That answer from HP conflicts with a prior HP answer. I just got the F0024 and it has 1 3.5 bay that is open to be used for a HDD or a SDD. The SATA and power cables are right there. I plan to add a 4TB Seagate drive for $75 today. You can also get the service manual that shows how to mount it.

There is no 3 1/2 drive bay available on this desktop. There are only 2 M.2 slots available for expansion on this desktop. One is open for WLAN and the other slot is used for M.2 solid state drive.
