- Answer It is dual core, however you must understand that cores are not everything. This has a ton of processing power. The new Core M-5Y70 was originally meant to meet the demands of a professional, business device. It was also created for optimum processing speed and low-wattage performance compared to similar performing 4th gen Haswell chips. Intel described it as PC power in a laptop/2-1 device without the need of a fan. Intel describes the performance boots of this chip vs a 4th gen Haswell as: Up to 2.1x better office productivity Up to 2.3x faster web applications and photo effects Up to 1.7x faster conversion of word documents to PDF Up to 7.1x better 3D graphics Up to 7.6x faster video conversion Up to 1.9x faster photo editing PC Mag published 2 articles in September about this chip. - Answer Yes. The keyboard is bluetooth and does not even need to be physically connected to the tablet (it is recharged by the tablet when connected). Touchscreen and keyboard are available as inputs simultaneously.

- Answer Great question. This computer does not come with an Active Stylus. The current HP Active Stylus only works on the HP Spectre x360. I hope this helps!

QuestionDoes it work with a hard tipped stylus rather than soft?I do a lot of drawing with fine details and I find that the soft tip stylus do not work for me and I am an HP snob I LOVE HP So this would be perfect if it worked with a hard tip stylus :) does anyone know? thanks!!

- Answer Good question. This computer will only work with a soft tipped stylus. The only HP laptop that can use a hard tipped HP active stylus is the HP Spectre x360. I hope this helps.

- Answer Since Hewlett-Packard does not test or support third-party products, I do not have information on MiFi/Miracast transmitter. I recommend contacting the manufacturer to determine compatibility.

QuestionCan the keyboard fold backwards?Can the keyboard fold all the way back in case you don't want to detach it while in tablet mode? And if it can, do the keys face the back of the tablet so they aren't exposed?

- Answer In my experience, no you can not securely fold the keyboard all the way back. At a certain point of folding, the magnets give way and it disconnects. The keys are absolutely exposed as well.

QuestionHow good is handwriting with the pen/stylus?I am a university professor and all of my student work comes to me electronically. But for some work there is no richer way to provide feedback than with old fashioned (red, of course) pen annotations. I have spent a lot of money on failed approaches to this issue. I have been able to try the handwriting annotation (not text recognition, just adding handwritten notes to a document) on the Surface Pro 3 and it is acceptable. But I cannot find any information on the resolution and clarity of handwriting using this or its larger cousin. HP has been monumentally unhelpful. All of my work would be on Office documents. If anyone can provide any insight into this I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Larry
