“I don't understand the 12GB of RAM. Is it 3 4GB chips, or an 8 and 4 combo, or just one chip? I thought RAM had to be matched to run as a dual channel. Is this single channel? And what are the available slots and expandability? Thanks.”

• It is an 8GB UDIMM and a 4GB UDIMM. Can be upgraded to 16GB using a pair of 8GB UDIMM's.
