Hello, thank you for taking interest in our Envy Desktop line of computers. This model can accept a discrete graphics card, however, the power supply on this unit is 180W 80+ Gold certified. So you will be limited to what type of discrete card you can use. This model on its current power supply should be able to power up to an Nvidia GT 1030 GPU as this is a very low powered unit. This will be great if you are looking to expand the amount of displays you want to have open or if you wish to do light gaming or play some Esports titles like CS:GO and League of Legends.
