I upgraded my memory to 32gb with no issues. Two considerations: - Don't mix memory sticks. I installed 2 identical 16gb sticks in mine after removing the 16gb mm it came with. - Though you may be able to overclock it (I'm not sure you can) I bought the speed recommended in the specs So far no issues.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Treat this computer as if the memory is not upgradeable. There are two memory slots. However, you cannot place memory with the 16gb, 288pin, DDR4-2933 specifications and it work. I called HP and was ping ponged four times before the customer service agent said I should go to Best Buy (my original starting point) to get an answer. Specifications say it is upgradeable but practically it is not. HP has to give an exact link to a memory card that works instead of telling you what to Google.
