QuestionI recently switched from a 6830 to the 7155. The ink runs out shockingly more quickly than with the older printer, with the same usage. I mean shockingly quickly, its unbelievable. What is going on here??

- Answer You must print an extremely large amount , because I have the same printer and my ink cartridges seem to last months before they run out.

- Answer Yes. Once they're used you can't use them on a different _printer_, but it's fine to use them on the same printer while setting it up on multiple computers.

- Answer Apologies for what you're experiencing. Using t he HP Smart App on your iPhone or computer will solve the network set-up problem and enable you to print from your phone. Use printer settings from your computer to change the default to 8.5 x 11" (you can also do this with the Smart App).

- Answer Hello, Susan. No, this HP Envy Photo 7155 printer does not have the fax function. We recommend looking at the HP Envy Photo 7855 printer which does have the fax function.

QuestionI inserted a 5x7 photo card into the slot and tried to print a picture, but it says I have to insert a memory card. Is that a typical memory card we use for everything nowadays, and does it go in that little left sided round door? Thanks.

With the Envy 7155, you can print from your computer, from a memory card placed in the slot, or from your Smartphone using the HP Smart App. A memory card is an SD card (secure Digital card) that may be from your camera, your phone, or even used in your computer, if your computer has an SD slot. Yes, the memory device goes in the area to the left. In what "slot" are you loading 5 x 7 photo cards? Paper on which you'll be printing goes in the paper tray at the bottom. Please review the user guide for your printer, especially page 7, where all parts of the printer are shown. http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05633496.pdf

- Answer It might as long as you don’t remove the color cartridge, The printer will let you know when the ink is running low, so you should purchase another one before running out completely. If you set your printer up with HP instant ink then they are aware that the ink is low and will mail you another cartridge for a total of 5 months free. You may have to sign up with customer service. The process might be a little frustrating but worth it.
