Do you have to replace the battery null

Replaced my batteries twice in 22 years.

Batteries last a very long time, years in my experience on my previous HP12c, but are replaceable.

When the thing stops working it likely will need fresh batteries. I had an old one and it performed for years and years before the batteries died. I now have a new one and hope for the same. Note: Batteries are much cheaper than they were 20 years ago.

Just brought an new one and had to take the batteries in and out to make it work. Took it back and got a different one that seems to be working. Slow on the keys as compared to my 20 year that got stolen. I miss it!
