according to the documentation the starter toner cartridges will print approx 700 pages. See HP's answer here..

I purchased this printer at the end of summer 2015. It is now summer 2017. The printer reports 60% ink remaining.

Another person - posting was right - This printer costs less, than replacement cost of the toner ink.

I have printed 265 sheets and I am showing at 90% on black ink with greater than 1200 remaining. I have printed 111 sheets utilizing color inks, they all show 90% with greater than 550 remaining. These are all original toner cartridges.
