- Answer No, the duplex function is not tied to whether the connection is wireless or not. Try rebooting the machine and reinstalling the drivers to see if that fixes the issue.

- Answer Unfortunately no, this model does not support tabloid/ledger size printing. We recommend checking out the OfficeJet Pro WideFormat 7740 model!

QuestionOn H P MFPm477fdw when making manual copy is it possible to duplex the document automatically? If so how there is no internet available we are using it as a copier.

- Answer First you will have use the touchscreen to choose copy. Second (still on the touchscreen) choose 2 sided (or duplex) copying. Third you will need to feed the original copy through the document feeder on top of the machine (not the flatbed scanner). That should do it.

- Answer This printer will print duplex either automatically or manually. You can set it in your print options before you print.

- Answer It's not usual for laser printers to do that. You can take it to the Geek Squad at Best Buy for service.

- Answer I don't believe it handles double sided (duplex) for fax. You have to lay the group of pages on the document feeder, so that means they're scanned in that order (unless you then flip them over once scanned -- but that would mean the pages may not fax in the order intended). If you set up the fax phone list, its easy to speed dial or group dial (it does not say what the limit for stored entries is). I really don't intend to use the fax function as I primarily use online fax service which is so much more easier for me.

- Answer If you want to print completely wireless, you cannot connect the network cable to the printer (it will deactivate some features -- however, likewise, when you use wireless, some other features don't work either!!! That is truly a bummer because then what's the use of not being able to use ALL the functionality that you pay for!). You have to use the wireless setup from the printer directly to search and connect to the same wireless network as your computer or other devices. For HP's eprint service (out of network/via email etc) you just sign up with HP to set up/register your device (the documentation to this comes with the printer). With that ePrint address, you can send print jobs to your printer when you are away from the printer. I chose to use this printer wireless....
