A:AnswerTo make good quality copies yes. This is an amazing copier. My son was part of the design team. Don't limit the quality and function of this awesome machine by not using it as it was designed.
A:AnswerYou can set the printer up yourself, just follow the instruction given on disk or included paperwork. Just take off the packaging, connect cables and install ink and you are ready to go. You can also call HP for assistance on a new printer setup. f you are not comfortable with his charges can vary by who you choose to do the setup.
Thanks
A:AnswerThis is part of the set up. When you initiate the set up, it will connect to the computer you have and you will be given options to set up the scans. You will be able to get the icon to past on your taskbar (on windows).
Alternatively, run 'HP Scan and Print doctor' - you will see the icon if you click open HP Officejet Pro 8710: HP Printer Assistant.
A:AnswerIt sounds to me that the printer is not installed correctly. Or your monitor is turned off. Get the user manual online for support. Try this first, and if you can't fix it, call the Geek Squad. They can help you over the phone. Good luck!
