• A:Answer I couldn't find any DDR5-5600 SODIMM memory on best buy's site presently, but I ordered this from an alternative store: CT2K16G56C46S5 Crucial Ram 32GB kit - it worked well in my laptop. I also ordered a stick of SN850X SSD without a heatsink from Best buy with my purchase. There's an available slot which includes an aluminum heatsink already inside of the laptop. There may not be enough clearance if you purchase an SSD with a heatsink. I hope this helps, cheers!

• A:Answer The 7940HS is quite efficient while still being nippy from my experience. I have a similar use case. From my recent use case, i was writing up something for 2 hours, 18 minutes with a total battery usage of 18%. I had the profile set to eco mode. Brightness at about 40-50%. Fans never kick in, not even when i had numerous browser tabs and windows, office opened as i was researching on something. Plus the 780m will always be good enough fir your basic usage. It is also quite stealthy. The design makes it look slimmer than it is. My peers hardly notice what it is (the stickers end up giving it away). Proper buy especially if it's on sale.
