Traditionally, access to the memory modules on a laptop is simple, so that way service technicians can replace memory quickly, which saves time and money. However, this laptop is NOT one of those laptops. It lacks an "Access Panel" for the memory and hard drive. That said, the laptop must be disassembled to access memory...Something like 20 screws + plastic clips holding the bottom case assembly together. See my review.

On THIS Laptop, it does not have such a Panel. So - You may need to have a PC Tech open it up, and Upgrade the Memory. I'm Personally looking into this myself. I am a PC Tech, and I open-up Laptops all the time. But I'm uneasy about opening-up a NEW Laptop. It's like removing the Fresh Engine out of a New Car. I am going to Figure this out myself. When I do, I will let you know......... ;^)
