Yes - So long as you aren't doing 3D Graphic-Design. And you will want to get another Mouse. Using the TouchPad with the Flexible Click-Corners are No Fun. As far as the Hardware/Specs go on the 17-g119dx, this has en Excellent Laptop for the Price. It has a 1.7GHz i5, which is Better than AMD's Top-Notche A10. The 1TB HDD is PLENTY big enough to Store all your Files. The RAM is the down-point, BUT - That's the part that can be Easily Upgraded. Just Buy a 4GB DIMM Memory Chip that is Compatible with this Laptop, and your Running a $600+ Laptop for under $450. *And if you TUNE this thing AND Upgrade the RAM [Blackviper.com], it will Surprise you. ;^)
