• Yes but you'd be surprised at how much ram games can take, albeit, it's not too much of a concern, 8 is enough and this will work fine. If you plan on doing other things WHILE playing TX hold'em, then I'd consider this same laptop but with 12GB ram.

• Yes, this computer would be great for running the game. It will play seamlessly without lag. It has a fast processor and plenty of RAM for the game. I hope this helps.
