“Would this laptop have enough memory for a college student? I am looking for a laptop that is good for college. I have no experience with laptops as I use a Chromebook I know nothing about hard drive or memory space and how much is necessary to have a functional experience.”

The Pavillion is good for music,video,dvd and webcams,electronic book download.You want a computer with lots of Gigabytes and Office software for doing reports and automatic save if you loose power. You do not want a computer that overheats after being plugged in for a long time .YOU WANT LONG BATTERY LIFE this is essential.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yup plenty. Its got 6gb of ram (expandable but so far 6 gb is far more than you should need, avoid the 4gb laptops). As for storage space, 750gb is plenty. You can still use cloud storage from your chromebook.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There's more then enough memory and hard drive to ever fill. Naturally if you're going to download and keep the entire internet, there's no machine for personal use that large. But college should be great.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Unless you want to play heavy duty graphic games on the laptop. There is no dedicated graphics processor on this. If you have a Microsoft account, or even Google drive - it comes with hundreds of GB of free online space so storage should not be an issue. This laptop has 750 GB HDD which should be good enough for most people. RAM is 6 GB and again more than handy for any one except when you need to run database intensive programs or heavy duty graphical games or apps.
