So far I use it about 4-5 hours a day and it runs really cool.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not an expert, per se, but I do work in IT & wouldn't recommend it. This laptop is a "Standard User" PC, so I wouldn't call it built for performance. If you overclocked it, you're running the risk of generating too much heat in a laptop that wasn't engineered for it. If you're a hard-core gamer into overclocking or the like, I'd say shell out a bit more for a higher performance laptop. Mine, as purchased, with all the bloatware uninstalled & unnecessary processes turned off, already will run a little warm after long streaming sessions,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not a "Beast machine" for sure. 6 gigs RAM is exactly what it needs for good performance. There is no dedicated graphics, so it is a good limitation for performance. You can try overclocking it, the processor has the limit switch anyways. But it is not recommended in order to avoid damages.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, under 100% load the temperature never exceeds 60 degrees C
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would never recommend overclocking a laptop. There is not enough airflow to keep the CPU, Video card and memory cards cool enough when running the CPU at speeds higher than the designed speed of the system it's installed in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It isn't overclocking like a computer, its similar but more simpler, when you play a game it might need more processor speed speed so it will go higher, the most i've seen mine so far was 2.80ghz while playing minecraft and i'm sure the fan can handle it
