A:AnswerThank you for your question on this HP desktop computer! You can add an optical drive to this: Make sure that it is a half-profile drive. This desktop also has a bay to accommodate in internal 3.5" drive or a 2.5" drive in a 3.5" drive bracket.
A:AnswerThank you for the question. Yes, your old monitor should work provided it has the right video connector. The HP TP01-2234 has two: one VGA and one HDMI connector.
A:AnswerPhotoshop and Lightroom are the major app I use. There are also MS office and some video editors, such as Handbrake. I also use 3d CAD software, such as onshape. In general the computer is powerful enough to handle such tasks.
A:AnswerThat question has nothing to do with me, since I purchased this computer, and the Geek Squad rep transferred everything over for me. Everything has been working smoothly, and so much faster than the old one. I am so happy with spending so much less time on my emails, projects, and even my own games in getting from one point to another. So far, I am very pleased, and hoping it doesn't change.
