QuestionI sometimes go 3 months or more between printing things. Will this be a problem?? Will the toner "settle" or become unusable in any way in that amount of time??

- Answer No, this should not be a problem, because I've had occasions when I did not print on my Laser Printer for over a year, and it still printed fine, when I forwarded documents to print on it again. There should be no problem with the toner, due to lack of use for several months.

QuestionCan it be programmed to recognize and print different size paper within the same print job (i.e. letter & legal)? Some loan docs are different sizes within the same print job and must be printed on the correct size.

- Answer They are new/full if you buy new. I’m unsure if the refurbished/open box timers are new. Hope this helps

- Answer I am very happy with my transaction. Printer was well packaged and received in an acceptable time frame. Everything was as it should be and the printer continues to function as it should. The quality of the print is quite good in my opinion.

- Answer The toner that comes with the new or refurbished printer allows you to print about 1000 pages or less, compared to a new cartridge that is full of toner, which allows you to print anywhere from 3,000 to 5,000 pages.

- Answer Yes, there is a warranty available. Just like you can by a warranty on a rock, or place a bet in Vegas that a piece of green Jello will win the X-Games half pipe snowboarding event. I had to call tech support seeking installation assistance and was greeted by a 3rd party tech support company that HP contracts with that immediately attempted to deceive me about the problem I was having and attempted to sell me a $650!!! hardware based network security appliance that would "solve the problem". After multiple requests I was finally able to get the technician to admit that he did not work directly for HP and hung up on him. The technician kept remotely "working" on my computer for several minutes until I completely disconnected him. Little did he know that my nephew is a network engineer for Intel and he logged into my computer and had the printer up and running in a matter of minutes. He also completely debunked the entire premise that the 3rd party HP tech support person laid out as the reason why I "needed" to purchase the network security appliance. I am now officially through with HP and will never purchase another one of their products.

- Answer Card stock and photo paper work fine, if you use labels and envelopes be sure that they are rated for lazer as the fixing drums are hot and make the sticky stuff nasty and fail
