- Answer This has a VERY fast solid state drive. Programs load exceptionally fast. It also boots very quickly. This has the fastest SSD performance I've seen on a consumer focused Ultrabook. HP combined a slower drive with Intel's Optane technology, which works like a cache for hard drives to speed up access to frequently used information.

- Answer No, it's soldered. You cannot upgrade the memory on this laptop. If you want 16 GB of RAM, pick the other Best Buy model with the OLED or, unfortunately, get it customized from HP.com.

QuestionDoes this laptop have an HDMI port to support external display? I also need 2-3 USB ports and a headset jack.

- Answer This laptop does have a HDMI video out to connect an external monitor. The USB Type C ports will also support connecting a display. For USB it has 2 USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C with Thunderbolt 3 and 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A (HP Sleep and Charge). It does have a headphone jack as well.
