The difference is the pen - this comes with a stylus and the screen will take detailed input from the stylus (I.e., it's pressure sensitive; you can draw with it). My understanding is that if you tried to use a stylus with the other model you could write with it (more accurate than your finger) but couldn't do anything detailed.

Please try again later.Both units have similar specs, but the more expensive one has better audio, better microphones and a better camera that is compatible with Windows Hello!. The more expensive model has more ports, and one of the ports is thunderbolt compatible. The cheaper of the two has a display port out which the more expensive one does not. I own the 023dx, and i would recommend that over the discontinued model.
