I agree that a missing number pad is a drawback, but my wife chose to compromise for her home/business machine. None of the major manufacturers provide a number pad in the current generation of this computer class. It may be intentional, or it could be an internal limitation of the ultra-slim form factor. If the manufacturers determine a number pad is desirable for their target market, it might become available in the future. Remember that Apple omitted a number pad from their wireless keyboard many years ago and only recently brought it back as an option. You may need to look at a more professional level machine (HP ProBook or HP Zbook). But those don’t always have the high spec features like 4K displays that are desirable for consumer machines
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I highly doubt it. There is no real estate for the num pad on a 15in. especially with the layout of the Spectre. The premium speakers they have on the sides are wonderful, and they will not replace that for a num pad, since the majority of users do not use it. This laptop is wonderful though. I suggest you check it out in person, and definitely grab one if it's on sale.
