• Yes, this device was made for the current and 2018 iPad Pro models. And is usable on other devices that connect by USB-C.

• Yes that’s the reason I bought it. Sadly it doesn’t work on the magic keyboard but will work on iPad once you connect tap on files icon to view files from thumb drives or SD cards. It’s a pretty nifty device.
